Volunteer Opportunities
As a Sculpture Square volunteer, you will work closely with artists in setting up and tearing down of exhibitions, help out at exhibition openings and assist in gallery sitting. There is also our annual four-day Sculpture Carnival in May where thousands of children descend onto Sculpture Square for exciting art workshops.
Are you a budding photographer? Volunteer at Sculpture Square by documenting artworks or covering events such as exhibition openings. You may even get your work published in our exhibition catalogues!
Summary of duties
Gallery Sitting
1. Open gallery at 11am (on weekdays), 12pm (on weekends)
2. Record number of visitors
3. Provide information on the works and the artists (info provided)
4. Lock up the gallery at 6pm daily
5. Hours are flexible so check ahead with us and we can fit you in the schedule
