Commissioning of Artworks
Sculpture Square is in the ideal position to assist property developers, private property owners, corporations in their sourcing of 3D artworks for their premises.
Commissioning Process
The following outline the general steps SSq undertakes in the commissioning of artworks;
1.Establish project guidelines such as client’s brief and concept, artwork locale, budget, maintenance issues etc.
2.SSq will then source for suitable and relevant artists (local or foreign) and brief them on the job scope. If possible, site visit with artists will be arranged.
3.SSq will levy a $500 Consultancy Fee payable by client prior to submission of artists concepts.
4.Selected artists will submit their proposals within 2 weeks for clients consideration and approval.
5.Client to feedback and advise if project is confirmed and if so, select artwork for project.
6.Once project is confirmed, SSq will issue legal paperwork detailing scope of work, terms of agreement and deadline for completion of project. A payment schedule will also be agreed upon.
7.Artist, with Sculpture Square, will then submit their proposals to client for approval.
8.Artwork will then be fabricated.
9.Artwork will be transported and installed (where applicable).
